Digital Photography Toys

I have recently become the proud "LOVEY" of a baby girl. Before she arrived, I spent my precious pennies on a great new camera. I also bought a photo printer. I have had the best time playing with my new toys. When I was a new mommy, I spent much time, energy and money taking pictures, driving to the store dropping off the film, waiting on it to be developed, and coming all the way back to get the pictures.( All of my family lived out of town, state or out of the country so all letters and pictures had to be done the old fashioned way.....snail mail!) With the new technology readily available and reasonably cheap, it is wonderful to share pictures with family members far away. I am no great photographer, but I can make the photos look better by cropping and blowing them up. The younger people have no idea how easy they have it at this point in time. Communicating with friends, emailing, texting, etc. makes life much easier. At this point in my life, I am still able to learn and adapt to the new ways of doing things. It makes me wonder what will be available in 10 or 15 years.
